Philippe Ardisson founded FLUIDMETAL Industries in 2002, in Lyon, France backed by his extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the Chinese and European markets.
Philippe Ardisson began his importer/distributor business and moved into his first office in the Crédit Lyonnais building in Lyon, France.
During his numerous business trips to China, mainly in the Ningbo region (Zhejiang Province), Philippe Ardisson mainly met with and selected suppliers specialised in metalwork and plastics, mainly for plumbing, sanitary, faucets and other fittings, and heating sectors. FLUIDMETAL Industries then enjoyed its first period of strong growth, gaining major contracts with key accounts in France, Germany and Italy.
FLUIDMETAL Industries expanded its business with plumbing tools.
To improve its reactivity towards customer requirements and urgent needs, FLUIDMETAL Industries opened a branch in Shanghai, China.
After 6 successful years, FLUIDMETAL Industries achieved a two-digit increase of total sales, which allowed consolidating its expertise and gaining new markets and customers in France, Germany and Italy. FLUIDMENTAL INDUSTRIES also continued to expand with European SMEs which did not have any purchasing offices in China.
FLUIDMETAL Industries relocated its Shanghai office to Taizhou (east of Zhejiang Province), to be closer to its production sites. In addition, to be able to give a faster response to customer demands, FLUIDMETAL Industries set up a storage warehouse in Corbas (near Lyon, France), capable to deliver flagship products within 48 hours*.
With his more and more audacious entrepreneur vision, Philippe Ardisson is now planning to open a new branch in China to develop his business with international customers outside of Europe.
